You can disable XFS support with DISABLE_XFS_REALTIME CMake option. Deciding on XFS support basing on currently installed packages will increase confusion in my opinion. I guess in 99% of cases people will forget installing xfsprogs-devel and will end up with slower build. Therefore, I prefer to complain about missing headers and allow people to explicitly disable support if they want.
