Description

We need to document everything about camera hardware and software. Here is the WiKi? page:

I think BANK_REG_UFO_HEB_DMA.xls​ attached at this page is a very good starting point. However, we need to add description of UFO formats as well.

Sometimes hardware require pretty tricky timeouts between certain operations. Currently, this is completely undocumented. Just a not so simple example is here. It would be really nice to include all such information into the documentation as well.

It is also important to keep everybody updated about even minor format changes. For instance, send mails to mailing list: ufo-camera@…

Also, frame format is missing important bits of information. It seems the first 32-byte record is always missing for CMOSIS cameras. Also, there is 32-byte datalink consistency record for each two lines (on CMOSIS20)
