Description
The include path returned by pkg-config does not match the real installation path:
$ pkg-config --cflags fastwriter -I/home/matthias/usr/include/fastwriter $ ls /home/matthias/usr/include/ fastwriter.h
Due to this, compiling pcitool fails.

Fastwriter is your stuff, so for ufodecode you should open a new ticket.

It's not about discussion but proper attribution. This is once again one of those little things that let's the whole project look like a quick and dirty, hacked-together solution. Like it or not, but I cannot stand this unprofessional attitude that in the end costs more time than necessary.
