ipepdvcompute1's GTX 680 does not work

Description

The device can be queried with clGetDeviceInfo but any attempt to create a context with it blocks (even CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES is set to 0). Running an application as root does not help.

But please: Before doing any intensive or invasive investigations, let Sven Werchner finish his jobs on the machine.
