Video Conferencing Software

​EVO provides audio and video conferencing, desktop sharing, online blackboard, and ability to record conferences. To use EVO, you need to:

• Register on the official web site
• Install Java Web Start (part of JDK6)
• Start EVO and join the UFO meeting
• All meetings are prefixed with UFO and the password is ufo (small letters)

​The recordings are available for some of the held meetings. To listen recording you need

• Install Java Web Start (part of JDK6)
• ​Run EVOPlayer
• Click Open URL and select the appropriate EVX file

Possible problems:

• On Linux EVOPlayer (but not EVO conferencing itself) is only working with OSS sound system. You may need to stop all running PulseAudio? processes (pulseaudio -k) and restart JavaWS in order to get sound.
