= Video Conferencing Software =

[http://evo.caltech.edu/evoGate/ EVO] provides audio and video conferencing, desktop sharing, online blackboard, and ability to record conferences. To use EVO, you need to:
 * Register on the official web site
 * Install Java Web Start (part of JDK6)
 * Start EVO and join the UFO meeting
 * All meetings are prefixed with UFO and the password is ufo (small letters)

[http://ufo.kit.edu/data/EVO/UFO/ The recordings] are available for some of the held meetings. To listen recording you need
 * Install Java Web Start (part of JDK6)
 * [http://evo.caltech.edu/evoBeta/player/EVOPlayer.jnlp Run EVOPlayer]
 * Click Open URL and select the appropriate EVX file

Possible problems:
 * On Linux EVOPlayer (but not EVO conferencing itself) is only working with OSS sound system. You may need to stop all running PulseAudio processes (pulseaudio -k) and restart JavaWS in order to get sound.
